Here are some of our most frequently asked questions, but please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
How much do your signs cost?
Custom signs start from $40 for something around 100mm x 400mm x 25mm with straight edges. Have a look at our shop to see some more examples but if the size/style you’re after is not shown, get in touch with your ideas and we’ll get back to you asap with a quote.
Do you ship your signs?
Yes, we ship our signs all over NZ. Shipping prices start at around $11 for the South Island and $14 for the North Island. Large signs or rural delivery may incur extra costs.
What timber do you use?
We use mainly Macrocarpa for our outdoor signs. Macrocarapa has good lasting properties outdoors, is readily available and makes for nice looking, long lasting signs. We use Pine and Recycled Rimu for some indoor items and most of our jewellery is made with Rimu.
How long does it take to get a sign made?
Signs take around 2-3 weeks to make from order confirmation. This includes file set up, cutting, sanding and painting but the most time is taken up by our extensive oiling process. Timing can differ depending on work load and the weather but we do work hard to stick to that timeline was much as possible. If you require your sign a little quicker do still get in touch as we also try our best to rush orders if possible.
Shipping time also can differ greatly unfortunately but is normally around 3-6 days.
Are your signs routed or painted?
Our main outdoor macrocarpa signs are routed, meaning that the letters are engraved into the timber, not painted on top. Some of our indoor signs are painted or lasered.
